Did you know? Here are some of the new laws passed that will affect rental property owners:

1. Starting in 2011 landlords are required to issue a 1099-Misc. form to every vendor they contract with.

2. Bonus depreciation – Any fixed asset you purchase for your properties such as cabinets

3. Section 179 expensing on qualified real estate improvements.
